What are we raising money for? Why all
the garage sales and fundraisers?! We've got $7,500 standing in the
way of completing the two-year series of extensive dental work I am
needing done, that number first amounted to a total of $12,000 of
dental work needed, but has now surmounted to closer to $18,000 and
we need your help!
As most of you know, I went in for a root canal in March of 2010 and since then have never been the same. After literally now three years and two months of tests, being seen by doctors all over, we still have not been able to determine the cause of the auto immune and neurological disease I have been dealing with since that original root canal. In August 2011, about a year into this journey, we began Mazvita's Angels as a way to raise money for a series of dental work several different dentists confirmed I needed, the issues causing them could be related to finally nailing down a diagnosis, or the next step leading towards that discovery and thus more effective treatment.
We'd love your prayers and support and are fully trusting this need will be met and provided! We're working to raise the $7,500 by the end of this summer, and right now our current fundraising mini-goal is $3,000 for my next dental procedures I've needed for a few months that we're trying to get done as soon as possible as the amount of time this much infection is in my system and in my mouth is what has caused more problems to occur, raising the amount of dental work needed, and we're trying to avoid these next few fillings for example, which are $1,000 problems, to again be multiplied into a $3,000 problem (resulting in needing a root canal and crown.)
